Gulls
The afternoon sky
is momentarily
filled
with gulls
Congregating
in empty parking lots
they always seem
a bit cheeky
Their walk a hurried
strut
Heads cocked
to present a sharp eye
But on the wing
they glide
catching a current
and drifting
