Spying on the heron
Taking
Nature’s portrait
requires stealth
the camera’s
approach
greeted not
with poses
but side-eyed
suspicion
Compared
to our wanton
selfie snapping
Nature seems
demure
reclusive
Even the ducks
decline
to toss
a duckie pout
our way
