exile

from the heat

has exploded

in a furious

firework

of growth

leaves

blossoms

dispersing pollen

seeds cascading

to the wind

life

accelerating

into a blur

of green

Force of Nature

 

The force

of nature

is gentle

gradual

and

relentless

Pushing us back

when

we push it aside

and emerging

unexpectedly

Unwinding

 

The day

unwinds

unraveling

loosening

the tightened corners

the taut center

untangling

brilliant strands

of tension

time

and tenderness

smoothing out

all the days
