Sky lotus
blooming
in a blue
sky pond
drifting
serenely white
I found Joy
where the path
divides
sunshine
and shadow
Her smile
became mine
as our eyes met
Where have you been?
I asked
Where
haven't I?
she replied
While I
was shut away
in self-imposed
exile
from the heat
from the sun
Nature
has exploded
in a furious
firework
of growth
leaves
blossoms
dispersing pollen
seeds cascading
to the wind
life
accelerating
into a blur
of green
The force
of nature
is gentle
gradual
and
relentless
Pushing us back
when
we push it aside
and emerging
unexpectedly
The day
unwinds
unraveling
loosening
the tightened corners
the taut center
untangling
brilliant strands
of tension
time
and tenderness
smoothing out
all the days
that came
before
