stepping stone

clouds

leading

into my past

an inlet

of sky

my dreams

bid farewell

to departing

ships of illusion

headed west

into a not so distant

night

joyful faces to

unconcerned

with their

scruffy roots

or precarious

perch

to life

invites
my playful
musings:
tucked in
a blue card
like a coin
in a cherished collection
or 
emerging coyly
from behind
a blue fan
held in the thumb
of an invisible god
then quickly palmed
til nightfall
